Magic has been with us for over 3 years and during his time with us we have taken him to Pony Club, The Beach, Bush Riding, and Hack Shows. He has been ridden at shows in both the Lead Rein and Show Hunter Events, in which he places every time. In lead Rein he has won 2 Champions and Smartest on Parade the the Hack Council Classic under an Eastern States Judge and good company. He was top 5 at the Welsh Newcomer HOTY and has qualified and is entered for the Perth Royal Show in the Lead Rein, Show Hunter and Welsh Classes. He is an absolute delight to prepare for shows and is often commented on his behaviour. Magic is a very cute pony with his 4 white stockings and lovely blaze, he has heads turning were ever he goes...
He is a very lovable and talkative pony who is always on the look out for you. He loves his carrots and cuddles and feed time. He is very neat in his stable and paddock and always at the gate waiting for you. He is very easy to float, clip, trim, wash, worm, prep for shows and have his teeth done.
You can ride him bare back in a halter and lead rope and double dink as well.. (little kids that is, remember he is only 11h) :)
This is a very sad sale as his young rider has lost interest. :( He comes with some gear. Would prefer an experienced show home to further his career as it as only just begun.

Oliver had a huge showing career in his younger days including winning Champion LedWelsh at Canberra Royal and Best Welsh Gelding at Sydney Royal as a 3 year old. He won First Ridden Welsh and his Novice Ridden class at the NSW All Welsh and Ridden Welsh Hunter at the Victorian All Welsh (in photo. Then he got laminitis. He was out for a couple of years but with lots of care, is now 100% sound. He was bought back in last year and did some ridden shows and is now spelling for the winter. He would suit Welsh Leading Rein/First Ridden etc, or just a fun pony for children to ride at home. A very special pony who will only go to a selected home.

Placed in 1st Ridden at Vic All Welsh, Mountain and Moorland and Welsh at Barastoc this year with my non interested daughter.
Will make a super leading rein, 1st ridden pony, very easy and uncomplicated to ride with fabulous movement and a lot of presence. He does prefer children who have some ability as he is balanced and so has a very soft mouth and listens/responds to leg aids. Has been to Pony Club and has popped straight over any jumps that has been pointed at.
Good for all the usual things, dentist, farrier, trim, wash, transport, rug, stable, ride through town etc. Currently fed, rugged and in work as being aimed for dressage over winter.
