Rider Profile

Grace has had the pleasure of riding some wonderful ponies throughout her time in the show ring. Her favourites include RoseEagle Sea Sonata, who she rode for the Riemer Family. Grace says they are the most wonderful family to ride for. Also in her favourite list are Silkwood Heaven Can Wait whom she rode at Perth Royal in 2008. The Drexel family are another favourite family.

A highlight for Grace was to ride Silkwood Heaven on Earth at Hobart Royal in 2009 to win Champion Rider under 12. Thanks to Fiona Clark and Tania Hay. 2009 was an interesting year, a highlight for Grace was winning SHCV Newcomer Large Pony on Rothwell Fairy Dance (Paige), who was also selected by SPC as a sponsored pony for 2010. Thanks to Michelle Labahn and Suzie!

Grace is conscience of the fact that every time she steps aboard a pony she has the privilege of being part of its' destiny, this is a thrill for her, every time. Each and every person that Grace rides for knows that she will be trying her very hardest for them, without hesitation.

Grace has always had a soft spot for Shetland Ponies (having learnt on our old pony Opie). Grace currently rides 2 shetties for the Pengelly and the Charles' families, these are such a pleasure for her to ride.

There are many people whom Grace has ridden for, too many to mention here, however each person has a special place in her heart. Thank you all for entrusting your beautiful ponies into such small, capable hands. P.S. Graces' own pony Tapu Private Rendezvous (Bazzie Winkle) is such a great pony for her to campaign, winning his novice at Adelaide Royal last year being a highlight for them both.

Grace is no stranger to the Royal Arena, having ridden many ponies and being very successful.

 

Grace has been awarded Champion Rider at Hobart Royal Show 2009, SHCV 2009 and 2007, top ten at all major shows.
